Last year, Nolan Lamkin won the MotoAmerica Superbike Cup Championship and finished fifth in the Stock 1000 title chase. This year, rider/team owner Lamkin go at it again and he began his defense of the Superbike Cup title win a win and a second place in the class within a class, while also finishing inside the top 10 in the second of two Steel Commander Superbike races.
