Rachel Klamer is a two time Olympian who competed for the Netherlands at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in 36th and 10th position respectively. She’s currently ranked 7th in the ITU World Rankings, and 2nd in the SuperLeague Triathlon series. This super strong bike-runner was coming into 2020 in the form of her life and aiming for the podium in Tokyo when sport and life was put on hold due to the pandemic. We catch up with Rachel to hear about training in lockdown in the Netherlands, how Strava segment hunting is keeping her and new husband Richard Murray sane, and her aspirations for Tokyo and beyond.
