Today, we speak to Clare Stephens. Clare is a writer, podcaster, former editor-in-chief at Mamamia, and host of the podcasts But Are You Happy and Cancelled. She’s just released her new podcast, The Pile On, and has published her first novel, The Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done. 

In this conversation, Clare discusses the nature of pile-on culture and why women are always hated for something, how becoming a mother to her daughter, Matilda, taught her that everything is temporary, and why we all need to empathise more with people.
