The evolution of the Fort Worth Zoo has been nonstop since it transitioned from City-operated to a public-private partnership 30 years ago. Mayor Parker sits down with Co-chairman of the Fort Worth Zoo’s Board of Directors Ramona Bass about guiding the 113-year-old Zoo through its privatization transformation, the Zoo’s commitment to education and conservation, and even baby Brazos and his beloved Asian elephant family.
