This week we bring you another Age Group Story. Simon Maguire has lost over 70 pounds during his triathlon journey while training for his first half Ironman. A busy company director and father of two, Simon became determined to change his life after getting to meet his idol, cricketer Freddy Flintoff. After seeing the photograph of the two of them together that his friend took, he describes being too ashamed of his weight gain to share the photo on his social media. The next day, he started on the process of changing his life - daily exercise first thing in the morning, changing his eating and drinking habits, and entering an event that inspired him to keep up with the changes daily.
