In this episode, we shared a story about Lu An Ke (Eckart Löwe) , a German volunteer who spent over a decade (1997-2013) in moutainous area of China to educate local kids who were left behind by their parents working in the cities. His students consider Lu both their closest friend and best teacher. His story was well-know in China.
In 2009 and 2013, he was interviewed by ChaiJing, a well-respected Chinese journalist and environmental activist, about his experience.
