The use of income and employment data in lending has become much more widespread in recent years. For any fintech-enabled lender, access to this data instantly via API is critical to their ability to provide a seamless borrower experience. And of course, they want coverage of as much of the working population as possible.

Our next guest on the Fintech One-on-One podcast is Joel Rickman of Equifax. His official title is the Senior Vice-President of Verification Services at Equifax Workforce Solutions but basically, he is in charge of The Work Number (TWN). This is the most mature and widely used income and employment verification system out there, with coverage of more than 125 million workers.
