Welcome back to the daily gratitude minute. This is Scott Colby from state with gratitude. You know, I was recently on one of my gratitude hikes. A couple of weeks ago with three best friends. And we were playing the grateful dead when we stopped first neck. And one of the questions was if you had the entire day off from work, what is one thing you do and why? And it was unanimous. They all said they would be doing what they were doing right in that moment, spending time in nature with friends.
The also mentioned that one of the things they were most looking forward to on our hike was a reset and new beginnings to move forward with bigger things in their lives. You see, I think we often get stuck in the day-to-day routine and don't give ourselves space to grow when you're in your home, around the same people and the same technology day after day, week after week, things become routine and stale. You may want to make a change in your life. However, many of us may not give ourselves the space.
To imagine what that may look like. On the other hand, getting out in nature, unplugged from technology and with a great friend or two, or even by yourself gives you the necessary space to think. To be creative to problem, solve, to imagine. To daydream. And to figure out exactly how to move forward at a time where you may be stuck.
So this week, get outside, leave your phone behind and meet up with a friend and a park or on a hiking trail. It might just be what you need to create something new in your life.
