Layne Storrier & I first met at Never Lazy Run Club & were instantly mates. Over his first 12k run & a coffee he shared his desire to run 100km by the years end. When I hear his plans, his nickname ‘Layneo insaneo’ started to make a whole lot of sense but as he’s gone on to prove, what’s insane to many is most certainly achievable for the big fella.His next challenge begins on September 1st in which Layneo will tackle 36 Half Ironmans in 36 days. Not only is he doing it to test himself & to hopefully set a world record, but he’s chosen to do it & raise funds for the cause that is close to my heart- Cystic Fibrosis Australia. He is calling the challenge ‘Breaking Barriers for CF’ & I encourage everyone to get behind the great man with messages of support & to help him in his fundraising goal of $100k.
