Join me as I interview Cory Hardman, a certified life coach who specializes in working with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety. Cory's husband experienced post concussion syndrome, and the changes in his personality and life due to the symptoms he experienced created some significant challenges in their relationship and family life. Cory's experience being the caregiver and support system for her husband as he's gone through this challenge is raw and inspiring, and very likely will resonate with anyone supporting a loved one through post concussion syndrome. I'm so grateful she was open to sharing her story, as I believe this perspective is so important and not addressed frequently enough. A concussion can impact the entire family, as evidenced in the Hardman's experience, and the caregivers need to be seen and recognized and receive support as well. Cory and I hope that through her sharing her experiences, someone else will not feel so alone in their caregiving.
