Dr. James Metz is a 1973 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  Dr. Metz maintains a general dental practice in Columbus, Ohio, with an emphasis on dental sleep medicine and restorative dentistry. He is the affiliate director of The Ohio State University Medical Center Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program.  He has previously served on the AADSM board of directors, course development committee, public relations committee, and was the Chair for the Introductory Course of Dental Sleep Medicine in addition to being the Co-Chair for the Annual meeting 2014.  He is the current Chair of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) Interest Group on Dental Sleep Medicine and a member of the Executive Committee the Sleep, Respiratory, and Neurobiology (SRN) Assembly of the ATS.
