Today we continue our discussion on different types of strength. The focus today is on Emotional Strength.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, If you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” Martin Luther King Jr.
Emotional strength can help us to stay positive and optimistic, even in difficult situations. Additionally it can help you to deal with stress and anxiety.
Many ways to improve your emotional strength is practicing self compassion, forgiveness and a support network of friends and family. Forgive yourself and understand your imperfections. Treat yourself with kindness. Also build a support network of friends and family, they can help you to become your own personal cheerleader!
Emotional Strength needs to be cultivated and worked on over time. Just as a person works on building their muscles, it takes time. This cannot be done overnight but over time you will see results.
Emotional Strength can help you to lead a healthier and happier life.
