Today I want to address why urgent is not always urgent.
Have you ever received that email at work and feel as though you have to react immediately with a response?
The way you expend your energy, and respond to this can contribute to burnout. You do not always have to actively respond in the moment Many times we feel we have to immediately address the issue or concern
What happens if we wait?
Matthew 7:7 states: Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.
We align with a higher power. We have a role and that higher power has a role as well.
Remember there is a pause in the middle of Matthew 7:7. That pause should cause us to see if we are inspired into action instead of reacting.
The next time that phone call, email, or text message arrives, take a pause and see if it inspires you to take action.
