This week we are answering listener’s questions.

Today’s question:  I am going through a divorce and I want to know when is it time to give up. - do I give up before, during, or after the divorce is finalized?

Answer: I hear there is a sense of hope that you may reconcile. Take the filing at face value. You do not need to try and read between the lines. Even if you are hurting, this is a type of closure. You need to be honest about your feelings but also take the filing seriously by showing that you respect that decision by letting them move on while you work on yourself. Be honest and open about your feelings with them. Don’t chase the relationship.

Your work is to communicate what you are willing to do and stick to it.
