Jim Ratcliff is Chairman and CEO of Rowpar Pharmaceuticals of Scottsdale, Arizona, makers of the CloSYS Oral Care System of toothpaste, oral rinse and oral spray.  CloSYS is dispensed by dental professionals in the USA, Canada, and Australia and distributed nationally by Amazon, CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, and other major retailers. Jim is co-inventor of over 20 national and international patents and patents pending regarding the use of products containing stabilized chlorine dioxide, and is a national and international speaker on dentistry and  higher education. Prior to joining Rowpar, Jim was Director, Senior Scientist, and Director of the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Pennsylvania State University (1989-2000), Higher Education Section Leader and Professor at Iowa State University (1979-1989), and served on the faculty of Florida Atlantic University and Washington State University. Jim is an active member of the Arizona Chapter of the American Association for Dental Research, the Arizona Biotech Association, and the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. Jim and Rowpar were recipient of the SBA's Small Exporter of the Year Award in 2014. Jim and his wife, Barbara, live in Scottsdale, and are avid swimmers and hikers.
