In this episode we expand the definition of what is known as tradition trauma to understand why many of us exhibit behaviors such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and other coping mechanisms. While it has long been understood that trauma is a moment in time that changes our world view forever, new research has found that there is also something known as "small T's" which can have an even bigger impact on who we become. Small "T's" or small trauma consists of many (possibly) less memorable moments where we felt unseen, unloved, and unheard, leaving us unable to easily cope with the world around us.
