51 Council Members in 52 Weeks: District 28, Adrienne Adams

The majority of the New York City Council members Adrienne Adams are new and are part of a class that is the most diverse and progressive in City history. Over the next year Brian Lehrer will get to know all 51 members. This week, City Council Speaker talks about her priorities for the City and the 28th Council District, which includes the neighborhoods of Jamaica, Richmond Hill, Rochdale Village, and South Ozone Park.

Her "show and tell"? Olympians from District 28, including Dalilah Muhammad and Bob Beamon.
