This episode is all about ukulele in the music classroom. You’ve probably heard of people using the ukulele in their classroom, but if you’re like me you still don’t quite have the administration support for the funding for these instruments, as well as where to start once you get them!
I hope this episode can help you get some talking points to help you convince the stakeholders in your program to support ukuleles in the music classroom.
John Hamel is the 3rd of 5 generations of musicians. He has been teaching guitar and ukulele for over 20 years. He is currently the K-8th grade music teacher at a private school in addition to teaching private lessons. He and his wife have 6 grown children and 27 grandchildren.
