Today’s Listener Question: My partner and I have started to move out of the honeymoon phase and we are starting to argue more. Does this mean that we are not meant to be? Is this a sign that we are going to have a problematic relationship?

Answer: The reality of relationships is there is going to be conflict. This is because we are all different. Sometimes the desires, needs, wants and opinions align, and other times they do not. This is where conflict arises. 

There cannot be abusive behaviors when conflict arises. Healthy conflict management is key here. Being able to communicate effectively and compromises.
