As we continue our discussion on healing we dive into safe spaces and safe people.Safe spaces and safe people stresses the importance of community in healing.
We are naturally social creatures. It is needed especially when we are healing from trauma. Feeling welcomed to heal in the community is important as we discuss safe spaces and safe people.
Being accountable and growing with a safe person can help. Focusing on finding the right and safe people is key. The relationship is a space to grow and not reenact childhood trauma.
A partner that has negative reactions to healing most likely is experiencing childhood trauma. Ask if they are on a journey of healing? Remember having someone that is not willing to take the journey together can feel like a weight holding us down. This is why we need safe spaces and safe people to take the trip with us.
