In this episode, I am sharing some thoughts and experiences from it being March 1st and not being anywhere near where I set my goals for 2023. I am thrilled it is March as January and February are not my fav months, but I had a moment of feeling like I am not anywhere near where I thought I would be by now. Since I am navigating it, I am sure I am not the only one in this loop.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) The story only has the meaning that you give it. Remember your thoughts are always focused on your past or on creating your future, you get to decide what they mean. 2) Standing in the gap vs the gain, if you can stand in the gain you can see what you have accomplished, what you are experiencing and what habits you have made improvements on. 3) The goal is to shoot bigger than anticipated so you can stretch, but this is one of the reasons that I don’t love the term goals. It is not all or nothing, it is a process. Ask yourself what are you learning, what do you know you want less or more of, and how can you ask for help.
