The final habit and tool to help with healing we will discuss is talking about your feelings. Community and safe spaces are pivotal with our healing. It is natural to try and keep our feelings inside. These can be feelings of shame, embarrassment and failures.
Emotions are often learned at a young age. True connection is the result of vulnerability. This can feel like isolation. Sharing our feelings and finding connections while being vulnerable is the trusting sense of community.
Explore why you feel a certain way. Keep a journal of these feelings as they come and go. In your own space there is no room for shame. Remember everyone is different and how they perceive themselves, you and your feelings.
