In this episode, I am sharing a simple yet powerful shift when it comes to gratitude. Years ago I was stuck in a spiral of not being able to practice gratitudes the way I thought I was supposed to, I felt like I wasn’t doing it right, I didn’t actually mean it, and I couldn’t embrace gratitude. It started with looking for joy.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) “The root of joy is gratefulness.” — David Steindl-Rast. Becoming thankful doesn't just make you a happier person, it literally boosts your immune system, lowers blood pressure, decreases depression, improves your love life, and gives you more patience in enduring times. 2) Joy is the simplest form of gratitude because it is a basic human emotion that can be easily understood and expressed. It is a natural response to the good things in our lives and is a way for us to express our gratitude for them.
3) Where can you look for joy, allow yourself to feel it, embody it and carry it into your daily life. With this practice you can start to find gratitude in the places you would have never expected. Join the OUTSPOKEN NLP Coaching Certification https://www.marshavanw.com/outspoken2023
