We continue our discussion on Mental Health Awareness. May is Mental Health Awareness month. We have discussed common types of Mental Health as well as tools and habits to help heal from Mental Health issues. This week we continue with more tools and habits to help the healing process. Today we discuss, taking a break from alcohol.
It is easy to understand that consuming alcohol is part of the social experience. The same could be said of cigarettes at one time. Today we are realizing the negative effects of alcohol on the body. Alcohol can cause our mental health to plummet. With the amount of dopamine dumped into the system from consuming alcohol. The feelings will only last for a short time. When the alcohol is removed the anxious feelings can return and then drive you back to consuming alcohol because of the good feelings from consuming alcohol.
Remember a better tomorrow starts today.
