In this episode I am sharing some thoughts about a message I heard recently after an interview with Brandon Puffer. His episode was #541 on the podcast.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Success, money, acknowledgement should only make you more of who you are. These things amplify who you are. If you become a different person (in a negative frame) in the process, then success is changing you. 2) Who you meet on the way up is who you might meet on the way down too. Let Brandon’s lesson in life that he is most grateful for ring through for you.
3) This relates to the book, “The Five People You Meet in Heaven”, by Mitch Albom. The core take aways are this: everything happens for a reason; sacrifices make an impact in the lives of other people; forgiveness; the essence of love; and every human life has a purpose. My personal take away from this book has always been that I never know who I am having an impact on and some of the people who have impacted me, I have never met. Our impact and reach goes far beyond us. That is legacy, choose to live it wisely.
