In this episode, I am sharing some personal thoughts of something I have been walking through. It is based on the quote, “What got you here, won’t get you there,” by Marshall Goldsmith. The basis of the quote refers to the fact that 'Successful people become great leaders when they learn to shift the focus from themselves to others.' I had a real life experience that brought this quote to the forefront in my life and I knew I wanted to share it with you.
In today’s episode we discuss:
1) Honour what got you here first. What lessons have you learned because of what you walked through, and are they serving you? Be ridiculously honest with yourself and this question. 2) What is not serving you and what do you need to let go of? 3) Picture that it is a part of you that is literally releasing, dying or letting go of because you no longer need it, it is not necessary for your success and it may actually hinder or block you from receiving all that is possible for you.
