Dr. Mike Smith graduated SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2011. While in school, he joined the Illinois Army National Guard. He began his professional career working for a small corporation for two years before moving on to an associate position in a private practice office. He is currently a Major and the chief dental officer for the Illinois Army National Guard and plans to acquire ownership of his current private practice office in the near future.
