In this episode, I am sharing some info based on NLP and subconscious reprogramming how your thoughts are a lie. When you learn that your thoughts and feelings don't always tell the truth, and in fact they often lie to make situations worse than they really are. Your thoughts are incredibly powerful, and they exert an enormous influence on how you manage your life.
In today’s episode, we discuss:
1) Our thoughts are certainly part of us, they come from us, but we are not our thoughts. The average person has over 60,000 thoughts a day (according to Dr Fred Luskin at Stanford University). Of those 60,000, 90% of them are repetitive from the day before and 80-90% are negative. We are repeating our negative thoughts on a loop every single day.
2) We are all conditioned by the way we are brought up, education, and society. So we are not capable of looking at things without this conditioning, without the images, which cloud our thoughts. So our thoughts due to this conditioning may not reflect reality. 3) To change your thoughts, starts with recognizing them, acknowledging them, and seeing them for what they are, your brain trying to keep you safe. I share the power of reframing and dissociating, the power of your words, and how to see these thoughts differently.
