637 // Jesus Our Wonderful Counselor: The One Who Meets You Where You Are [Bible Study & Devotional]
Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode invites us to pause and breathe as we step into Luke 15 and reflect on Jesus’ heart for the one who wanders. We revisit the pastor’s question:
“What are you doing with your time, talent, and treasure?”
This parable isn’t just about a sheep — it’s about the heart of the Shepherd. Jesus calls us to move from believing to living what we believe, and to ask honestly:
Am I willing to go after the one He places on my heart?
We also begin our study of Matthew 18:23–35, where Jesus teaches on forgiveness through a powerful parable. Instead of giving Peter a number (“77 times”), He gives him a story that reveals the weight of mercy and the depth of God’s compassion. We’re reminded that His forgiveness is immeasurable, undeserved, and freely given — and it becomes the foundation for how we forgive others.
Then, we step into Day 2 of the “God With Us” Christmas devotional, focusing on Jesus as our Wonderful Counselor. Through Isaiah 9, Hebrews 4, Psalm 139, and Proverbs 3, we sit with the truth that Jesus meets us where we are, understands our humanity, and invites us into honest surrender. His counsel doesn’t just offer advice — it brings healing, wisdom, and freedom.
