In this episode, we are talking about uncertainty and how uncomfortable it makes all of us. Uncertainty is something we all experience every single day, especially when we are growing and expanding our comfort zone. Let’s chat about uncertainty and specifically what it means to our subconscious brain. In this episode, we discuss:
1) Our brains perceive uncertainty as a threat and unsafe. Our subconscious mind’s number one job is to keep us safe, and uncertainty is perceived to be the opposite of that. 2) Learning how to become more comfortable with uncertainty can help you to reduce stress, come to a place of peace, and calmness which allows you to see opportunities and possibilities more easily. 3) We crave safety and security, and we are meant to grow and not stay the same. How can you try something new, that is a small stretch and not see it as a painful failure, and how can you become aware of what you are clinging to? Because whatever you are clinging to could be the thing that could set you free if you can learn how to trust yourself and let it go.
