These days, the world is so consumed with animosity, cancel culture, and polarizing opinion that it's become increasingly difficult to connect with people in a positive way.

Which is why it can be an interesting when meeting new people to try and figure out if they're open to novel experiences. Ask yourself:

What experiences might I have with this person?

Are they free enough to see the beauty of everyday life? Will they cultivate deeper with me?

And when we meet somebody who's willing to do that, we have to do anything we can to spend time with them."
