When dealing with residual or built up anger, it's important to have good boundaries. We have to be very clear with what we need and we have to be willing to be vulnerable and ask for the important conversations to happen.

Also, the other person has to be willing to lean-in to hearing what we're saying, to showing compassion and empathy about our experience and to make changes that allow us to feel safe again. Because until these things happen, it's really, really hard to let go.
