UK Athletics has officially teamed up with the London Marathon and Great Run Company to create a new major events company, and deliver world class athletics events.

UKA CEO Jack Buckner has told us it'll help fix some of the financial issues of the organisation.

'Athletic Ventures' will deliver the London Diamond League meeting every year, the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham and lead the bid for the World Athletics Championships returning to the UK in 2029.
