In this episode, I explore the concept of our thoughts and the subconscious mind, highlighting that we have 60,000 to 80,000 thoughts a day, with a significant portion being negative and repetitive. I recently discussed this concept with a client who was stuck in a loop of past mistakes and regrets. I challenge listeners to consider how much of their day is spent living in the past and ask whether they truly want to create a different future. I emphasize the importance of learning from our past without allowing it to define us or become a place where we dwell. Instead, I encourage finding a space of neutrality where we can process our experiences and make informed decisions moving forward.
Throughout the episode, I share personal anecdotes and insights, including a powerful quote from Lisa Nichols about not building a home in the valleys of our past decisions. To create change, it is essential to reflect on our experiences. We must not let them anchor us down. Instead, we should view them as lessons that prepare us for the work we are meant to do in this life.
