Nathan Vickery is a husband, father, surfer, contractor, ex-counsellor and someone I consider a best friend.  As I write this, I was thinking about how the term “best friend” can often be regarded as somewhat of a throw-away term. However, in Nathan’s case, he epitomises the characteristics of a best-friend. Loyal, open, non-judgemental and not scared to call you on your bullshit when (and if) required. Nathan is family-centric, diligent in all that he does, both in the surf, or just at life in general.
