“We went to fifth-grade camp. we were hanging out all the time, and I kind of got one of my crushes, you know, and I guess he did too, and then we ended up connecting…So we were boyfriend and girlfriend.” - Laura

“And, he was in there with a girl and he looked shocked and she didn't, because she didn't know about me, apparently she's just sitting there. I walked up to him and I was like, Oh, hi. And he looked at me like, Oh, And I said to her, hi, I'm his girlfriend.” - Laura

“I saw more and more examples of healthy relationships like around me and I started recognizing it and being like this is just I can do better than this…” - Laura
