12 years ago, I felt incredibly low—no self-worth, no value. I thought the world would be better off without me. I came minutes away from taking my own life. I'm so thankful I didn't go through with it. I would have missed out on my adventure, and I would have selfishly destroyed my first two kids' lives. There's a better life, so don't give up. Instead of pulling the trigger to end it, pull the trigger to live. You can do it, it will happen—you just need to keep fighting, 1% a day, for the rest of your life.
