You may have met someone who relocated for work. You may have done it yourself. Whether it’s for a higher-paying role, cheaper real estate, or simply a tree change, it can be an appealing thought. But when you weigh up all of the competing financial factors, is relocating for work worth it?

This obviously isn’t a question anyone can answer with a simple “yes” or “no”. There are a range of factors which can influence the outcome, from the location to the job opportunity.
