A personal ad, a pink sweatshirt, and a jailhouse confession.

On June 21st, 2007 Kimberly Compton Whitton and her eleven-year-old daughter, Haleigh Culwell, vanished without a trace from their home in Section, Alabama.  

Kim's husband Barry Van Whitton claimed they rode off into the sunset to start a new life in Montana. Law enforcement officials immediately doubted that story.

And when it was revealed what happened to Michelle Townson Whitton, his first wife, it became clear that something way more sinister has happened.
