Joe Ovies, Adam Eshbaugh, and Wayne Holt host this week, and welcome Ben and Janee Farrar from Forgotten Road Ales in Graham. Ben and Janee discuss why they picked Graham for the location of their brewery, and go over their monthly calendar.
The name of the brewery references military veterans. Ben is a decorated and disabled veteran who served in the Marine Corps for nine years. And, Janee's family served in the Navy.
Janee said that the name Forgotten Road Ales is a loose metaphor for the road many veterans travel after returning home from overseas.
They brought in Day Patrol, which is a Blueberry Mosaic Sour. But, they have a whole series of Day Patrol Sours, which include their Day Patrol SPO (Salted Pomegranate Orange) Sour; and the Day Patrol PMD (Passionfruit, Mango, and Dragonfruit).
They also brought in one of their Call Sign series, which are New England IPA’s.
Then, everyone samples their Combined Arms Exercise-Resting Wit Face, which is a Belgian Style Witbier.
Finally, they go over their Sour IPA series, and go back to their Call Sign: Citra Sunshine New England IPA.
Forgotten Road Ales is located at 141 East Harden Street behind Graham Cinema in Graham.
