I’m talking about real, learnable skills that help you navigate relationships, challenges, and experience peace  in your own inner world.

If you turn on the news (no matter the channel) or scroll through social media, you will be exposed to many examples of people who do not have good emotional skills.  

You see people who are angry and inflamed, who don’t know how to filter their fury so they vomit words all over the place, without any regard to how they might be affecting the world themselves.

You see violent arguments and fighting.. You see families and friendships being destroyed, You see brainwashing and gaslighting..

It can be so disheartening to see, but it’s up to each of us individually, to manage ourselves, to be emotionally mature,  so that we can become part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.
