Today is my birthday,  and because of that, I want to talk about something that a lot of women deal with…

That heavy, hollow, painful feeling, when you feel you’ve been let down.

This is something I’ve struggled with my whole life, and something that still rears its ugly head for me.  

But I truly believe that my own personal struggle has meaning, because it has allowed me to work through it, and find solutions.. So that I can share them with you.

I think there are situations we can all relate to..

Maybe you expected someone to show up for you and they didn’t.

Perhaps you’ve hoped that someone would celebrate you.. And it didn’t happen.

Maybe you thought life would look a certain way at this point in your life — and it doesn’t.
Or maybe… you’ve prayed and prayed, and it feels like heaven is quiet.

Today we’re diving into something every one of us needs, especially with all of the chaos going on in the world. -emotional skills. 

I’m talking about real, learnable skills that help you navigate relationships, challenges, and experience peace  in your own inner world.

If you turn on the news (no matter the channel) or scroll through social media, you will be exposed to many examples of people who do not have good emotional skills.  

You see people who are angry and inflamed, who don’t know how to filter their fury so they vomit words all over the place, without any regard to how they might be affecting the world themselves.
