A Course In Miracles With Keith

It is your forgiveness that will bring the world of darkness to the light. ²It is your forgiveness that lets you recognize the light in which you see. ³Forgiveness is the demonstration that you are the light of the world. ⁴Through your forgiveness does the truth about yourself return to your memory. ⁵Therefore, in your forgiveness lies your salvation. "The Voice of the Holy Spirit does not command, because It is incapable of arrogance. ²It does not demand, because It does not seek control. ³It does not overcome, because It does not attack. ⁴It merely reminds. ⁵It is compelling only because of what It reminds you of. ⁶It brings to your mind the other way, remaining quiet even in the midst of the turmoil you may make." "This world will bind your feet and tie your hands and kill your body only if you think that it was made to crucify God’s Son. ²For even though it was a dream of death, you need not let it stand for this to you. ³Let _this_ be changed, and nothing in the world but must be changed as well. ⁴For nothing here but is defined as what you see it for.6. How lovely is the world whose purpose is forgiveness of God’s Son! ²How free from fear, how filled with blessing and with happiness! ³And what a joyous thing it is to dwell a little while in such a happy place! ⁴Nor can it be forgot, in such a world, it _is_ a little while till timelessness comes quietly to take the place of time." "When a brother behaves insanely, you can heal him only by perceiving the sanity in him. ²If you perceive his errors and accept them, you are accepting yours. ³If you want to give yours over to the Holy Spirit, you must do this with his. ⁴Unless this becomes the one way in which you handle all errors, you cannot understand how all errors are undone. ⁵How is this different from telling you that what you teach you learn? ⁶Your brother is as right as you are, and if you think he is wrong you are condemning yourself.6. _You_ cannot correct yourself. ²Is it possible, then, for you to correct another? ³Yet you can see him truly, because it is possible for you to see yourself truly. ⁴It is not up to you to change your brother, but merely to accept him as he is. ⁵His errors do not come from the truth that is in him, and only this truth is yours. "Projection makes perception. ²The world you see is what you gave it, nothing more than that. ³But though it is no more than that, it is not less. ⁴Therefore, to you it is important. ⁵It is the witness to your state of mind, the outside picture of an inward condition. ⁶As a man thinketh, so does he perceive. ⁷Therefore, seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world. ⁸Perception is a result and not a cause. ⁹And that is why order of difficulty in miracles is meaningless. ¹⁰Everything looked upon with vision is healed and holy. ¹¹Nothing perceived without it means anything. ¹²And where there is no meaning, there is chaos." Awake In Stillness (by Helen Schucman)Peace cover you, within without the same, In shining silence and in peace so deep No dream of sin and evil can come nearYour quiet mind. And then in stillness wake. First there is silence; then awakening. Now is the time appointed for the end Of dreaming. Still the cradle where you come To be reborn. The Christ is stirring in The home that He has chosen as His Own. His vision rests upon your eyes, and soon You will behold His face, and will forget The fantasies that seemed to be so real Until the stillness came. The Son of God Has come to join you now. His shining handIs on your shoulder. And God’s silent Voice Speaks ceaselessly of Heaven. You will hear His single message calling to His Own From His abiding place, to wake in God.Visit the website at:https://www.acimwithkeith.com/You can watch many older meetings on the YouTube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/@acimwithkeith Our meetings are organised in the Facebook group, "A Course In Miracles With Keith" Please ensure you read and agree to the group rules on application to have membership approved. My Father's House (by Helen Schucman, from "The Gifts of God")"Hallowed my name. I am a Son of God Who walks in stillness. I hold out my hand, And from my fingertips the quiet goes Around the world to still all living things, And cover them in holiness. Their rest Is joined in mine, for I am one with them. There is no pain my stillness cannot heal, Because it comes from God. There is no grief That does not turn to laughter when I come. I do not come alone. There walks with me The Light that Heaven looks on as itself. I am a Son of God. My name is His. My Father’s house is where my stillness is.Here is the Saturday Night Live sketch referenced at the start of the episode.Do bear in mind that we are never trying to stop our ego.We are stopping judging it and trying to do something about it, which is also ego, and THAT undoes it ;-)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyT-c0ZycnkVisit the website at:https://www.acimwithkeith.com/You can watch many older meetings on the YouTube Channel:https://www.youtube.com/@acimwithkeith Our meetings are organised in the Facebook group, "A Course In Miracles With Keith" Please ensure you read and agree to the group rules on application to have membership approved. "I have no private thoughts. ³Yet it is only private thoughts of which I am aware. ⁴What can these thoughts mean? ⁵They do not exist, and so they mean nothing. ⁶Yet my mind is part of creation and part of its Creator. ⁷Would I not rather join the thinking of the universe than to obscure all that is really mine with my pitiful and meaningless “private” thoughts? "Forgiveness, on the other hand, is still, and quietly does nothing. ²It offends no aspect of reality, nor seeks to twist it to appearances it likes. ³It merely looks, and waits, and judges not." "A dream of judgment came into the mind that God created perfect as Himself. ²And in that dream was Heaven changed to hell, and God made enemy unto His Son. ³How can God’s Son awaken from the dream? ⁴It is a dream of judgment. ⁵So must he judge not, and he will waken. ⁶For the dream will seem to last while he is part of it."
