A Court of Tattoos and Rosé

We are back in the thick of the High Lords’ meeting and things are heating up (and not in a good way). Tamlin makes an unfashionably late entrance only to make everyone uncomfortable with his pathetic quips. After some tough discussions, Rhys is able to prove his sincerity to the other High Lords. Az continues to steal all our hearts while we finally get to meet the legendary fae who created Lucien’s metal eye! Beron’s malice reaches new heights and ends with him in flames.

We finally made it to the High Lords’ meeting after what seems like five years! The gang arrives at Thesan’s palace which sounds like an ASMR dream. Tensions are high to say the least and the males are hard (or maybe that is just Mads’ wishful thinking…). Feyre’s hand becomes the main attraction. Mor reunites with an old friend who we all volunteer to campaign for as High Lady of the Winter Court. And the beast appears.

Feyre gets to meet with our favorite cadaver loving monster to try to get a better bargain out of him…good luck with that. The High Lords continue to bicker on where to hold their meeting…which is only a few days away so no rush or anything. Finally, Thesan and the Dawn Court are tapped as the host which was the obvious choice from the beginning in our opinion. In preparation for the meeting, Feyre gets a new accessory that we would all kill for. Of course, not to be outdone, Nesta declares she is coming along too…what could go wrong?

Okay for real this time...we start out with the aftermath of the battle in the Summer Court. Feyre and Rhys have a tense and less than promising reunion with Daddy T. But really, who came blame him for being a bit grumpy? Back at the Illyrian war camp, Rhys and Feyre give each other recaps on their own battles and then...well, let's just say that if the tent is rocking, don't come knocking!

This week we see the aftermath of the battle in the Summer Court…or do we? Sike!

Following yet another gruesome murder that no one seems that troubled by, Celaena and Nehemia admire (well more like stare) at the rather ugly clock tower for a bit. That is before the hulking oaf called Cain interrupts and makes it very clear he knows a big secret…yikes! Celaena’s quest to learn more about the Wyrdmarks leads her to a less than productive study session with Chaol. Her research leads her to a rather creepy book with a very familiar title. Dorian gets to witness the most feared assassin in Erilea have a meltdown over a game of pool.

Hybern’s parrots are plucked by Rhys. Amren goes on the hunt throughout Velaris and we would be lying if we said it didn’t sound scary AF. We get yet another insane revelation when Az finally puts it together that Elain is a SEER! With that knowledge, the gang realizes Elain may hold the key to finding a much needed ally…too bad its Lucien who volunteers to go find her. Everyone is prepping for the High Lords’ meeting when Hybern does the unthinkable…he goes all Battleship on Daddy T and his pleasure barge! The audacity!
