Dr. Allison Snowden is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (TCM), Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist (L.Ac.) in the state of California, and is a certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has performed clinical rotations at Rady’s Children’s hospital and the San Diego Cancer Center and advanced training at The International Acupuncture Training Center in Beijing, China. Raised in a family of MD’s and Nurses, how did teenage tragedy spark her interest in Eastern Medicine as well as western alternatives like chiropractic and yoga.
Western doctors saved her life and put her back together, but it was the alternative treatments that brought Quality of Life back to her.
