Kick Offs and Kick Ons

A huge Rugby Championship preview and an unwanted surprise for Matt Giteau

Listen Later

This week on the KOKO Show the crew headed down the Hume Highway to surprise our little leader upon his return from the land of the free and the home of the brave. That is right, we went full bloody stealth mode to ensure the unofficial King of Canberra got the serenade he deserved fresh off his business class flight home.

Thanks to our special guest and former Wallaby Ben Alexander and his team at ‘The Dock’ in Canberra we had a fun little get together in front of Goit’s family and friends. We cover all things ra ra in the lead up to the start of the TRC focusing on the Wallabies matchup against the Springboks and touching on the All Blacks v Argentina clash. Gone are the ghosts of July series past and now it is time for the big dawgs to eat, woof, woof, woof baby.

Plus, in partnership with our headline sponsor MYER we serve up another mouth watering ‘Match Fit’ segment and this time it comes with undertones of capital chic, parliamentary poise and world leader wonderment. So get comfy in the backbench and play nicely with your ballot box as we crawl deep inside your cabinet. This time we cross the floor and knock down the ACT’s door, it’s time for Kick Offs and Kick Ons.
