Plenty of marketing experts, influencers, etc preach the idea that you need to be consistent with posting to your audience. I agree with this but not for the reasons you might expect. For me, it goes much deeper than keeping your audience engaged. It's about you. It's about creating success. Check out this quick, yet jam packed lesson, to learn why consistency truly matters when it comes to your content creation. Once you're done, please comment down below with any questions or tactics of your own that you may have. Or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. I'd love to hear from you. There's a saying in Hollywood that it's all about who you know. I hate this saying because it creates a limiting belief that if you don't network, you can't make it. That's not true. The best for of networking for me is to just create good work and let word of mouth and such spread. After all, the reason you'd want to network is to be able to work with people. When people see your work and are drawn to it, they'll seek you out. This is exactly how my whole career has worked. And, the good news is, today you don't even need others. The platforms of distribution and the content creation tools themselves are so easily accessible and available to us all that it really is all about the content. So focus on that and not on "networking". Networking will come naturally. If you have any questions, comments (like you disagree or something), by all means, comment down below or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. Let's be honest, any time you deal with humans (business or otherwise) there's potential for conflict. And so it behooves us to learn how to deal with conflict, which is exactly what I present to you in this episode. SPOILER ALERT though, the best way to resolve conflict is to not let it escalate. The more clear lines of communication you have upfront, the more you can avoid things building up. But don't worry, I didn't reveal everything just here. Check out the full lesson for more details where I share tips and tricks I've learned from my own life as well as Tim Ferriss and Brene Brown. Once you're done, please comment down below with any questions or tactics of your own that you may have. Or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. I'd love to hear from you. There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Do you know what it is? Good news for you, in this episode, I talk about the core distinction so you can have confidence going into any situation without coming off arrogant. I use various examples to illustrate my point, including David and Goliath, as well as my own experiences. Once you’re done, please be sure to comment with any thoughts or questions you may have. With this episode, I focus on how I was quarter-backing my final since the deadline for submission fast approaches. I talk about the importance of organizing assets when you hand them off to others so they can do the work you need them to do, rather than spend time figuring things out. I also highlight some of the things that are on the horizon for me. If you have any questions, thoughts, etc don't hesitate to write. Heather Parady is the host of a podcast called Unconventional Leaders where she interviews people that redefine what it means to be a leader. She is a therapist who turned into an online entrepreneur with the intention of her work being to raise up the next generation leaders who go against the grain. I was first introduced to her via TikTok and knew immediately our ideas aligned and I wanted to share them with you! In this episode, I sit down over Skype with Heather and dive deep into various subjects. One of the main ones though is the notion that all content creators by default are leaders and that we need to recognize that. Please enjoy this interview and be sure to share your thoughts or ask questions—whether in the comment section or on social media to @PhilSvitek and @HeatherParady. We’d love to hear from you!

There's an ongoing debate I'm seeing about whether or not you should ever work for free. Because of that, I've decided to record this episode and showcase my stance on the issue. Ever say to someone, "I'm not ready to deal with that right now?" Well, that's a form of dealing with whatever it is, just not a very good way. In this episode, I talk about why you should always deal with issues/problems right away with intention. After watching, feel free to ask me any questions or offer some of your thoughts. Will Abeles (@WillAbelesComedy) is a friend of mine from Emerson College. Since graduating, he has gone on to become a comedian that tours various parts of the country. The best part—he’s his own manager. He books the venues, markets his shows and even writes his own material. In this episode, he and I sit down after years of not seeing each other and catch up. But don’t worry, it’s not just us shooting the shit. There’s lots of take-aways from his journey, namely the idea of creating your own opportunities. Will did this when he recorded his first album. He did it when booking shows in cities. And he continues to do it. I learned a lot and I know you can too. Please let me know your thoughts, whether in the comment section or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. I’d love to hear from you!
