A Prayer to Walk in the Light by Elizabeth Good

Reference: 1 John 1:7

Prayer: Jesus, I want to walk in the light. I don't want darkness to have a home in my family line anymore. Give me wisdom to know what to say, when to say it, and who is safe to say it to. Give me courage to be honest. Even when it feels scary, break the power of shame that has kept us quiet. Heal what has been hidden. Cleanse what has been passed down. Teach me how to lead my family with truth and love. Let my children grow up knowing they can speak, they can be heard, and they can be helped. Thank you that freedom is possible and that you, Lord, are always with us as we take the next, the very next right step. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
