One of the best parts of creating this podcast was being introduced to Kelly. She is one of those people who's soul truly shines from the inside out.
She and her family have been on a journey not only through helping 2 of their 4 children work through pretty significant health difficulties, but also because they up and bought a farm a couple years ago!
I love how they share all parts of their lives with others. They are on a mission to help and spread hope to other families. I'm so glad to have her back on season 2. To listen to her episode from season 1, click here.
And do your Instagram feed a favor and go follow them @hopehillfarmco. And you can visit their website at www.hopehillfarmco.com to learn more about all the fun things they're creating!
Our discussion about the foods we choose perfectly dovetails into an episode I hosted for another podcast, The Beauty Construct. Listen to the bonus episode on Mindful Eating that I mentioned HERE.
You can follow me @amykathleen.ak on Instagram.
And visit our new website, www.insidethecollective.com. It's YOUR hub for everything we talk about on the podcast + more!
Thanks for listening!
Take care,

We've always called our oldest son our "out-of-the-box boy." Luke is one of the coolest kids you'll meet.
Today, I'm sharing his story with you. While we certainly don't have all the answers, I've always believed that parts of our story have the potential to help other families in the same or similar boat.
I'm sharing all this to explain why we're beyond thrilled to announce a new development to help so many more families beyond our local reach!
Please listen, share, and visit www.insidethecollective.com/podcasts for more details!

BONUS EPISODE!
I'm not a huge history buff, but how exciting to hear the unexpected past of a local favorite!
Cuban Liquor Company was founded by Jacob and Gloria Greenberg in 1934. Emigrating from Eastern Europe, they stopped in Cuba when border restrictions prevented them from entering the United States.
I loved this episode-- hearing about it's past and how important it is to it's local owners to keep that in tack while moving forward. And, the intentional detail they put into the customer's experience should be a model for other local shops.
I hope you enjoy learning about this local favorite of mine. And a special thanks to Cuban for the partnership in helping celebrate the launch of this new season!

Welcome back for Season 2! I'm so glad you're here!
I was connected with Meredith through LinkedIn, and one part of her profile caught my attention... "winecast." I stopped whatever productive thing I was doing at the moment and went to check it out.
Her podcast, MAJOR CRUSH, became my favorite listen as I cooked dinner each night during quarantine. Each new episode took me on a little wine journey with my "new friends," Meredith & Lou" (her co-host.)
When I learned more about her passion for wine and wellness, I took a leap of faith and asked her to be a guest on my podcast. She was all for it and through it all she, Lou, and their producer, Sonja, became great friends. What a cool connection that lead to so many collaborations and a LOT of fun!
In this episode, we talk about all things wine, her company (decantU,) the “winecast," and how she connects wine and whole wellness with an emphasis on the social connection it brings.
Meredith makes wine approachable and even shares how we can navigate a great local wine shop, like Cuban (listen to the bonus episode,) to discover something new.

I would say Sarah and I laughed more than we talked, but I re-listened!… and we definitely talked about a lot! We clearly just had a great time doing it!
In this episode, you’ll learn the importance of “disrupting yourself,” how successful people are usually just the most stubborn, and what you can control in the midst of all this chaos.
And my biggest takeaway?… “We see other people’s end points, and we think that’s what it’s like on day one.”
How many times do I do this? Way too many. Is it just me or can you relate to that statement too?
We also talked about how trial and error is a fantastic tool. Sarah mentioned, “now is the best time for non-fatal trial and error.” Such an interesting conversation!
And how about this?… When unbelief hits (You know. That battle between our ears,) maybe that’s the time to step into what it is God has called you to do.
What an incredible way to end this first season! Truly incredible.
Please stay tuned at the end for a special message from me. It’s not lost on me that we are ending in November - in a season of gratitude and gratefulness.

Episode 21: Demystifying Sales Through Serving with Sarah Sloyan: Part 1
Do you want the backstory?… Of course you do. It’s fun!
Several months ago at the beginning of the summer, right as I was about to launch the podcast (which was a complete fog by the way,) I heard Sarah on another podcast. I loved everything she had to say. She blew me away!
Without thinking, I found her on LinkedIn. I was in the middle of creating an account of my own (also in a fog- not knowing much of anything about the networking site,) and I just had the audacity to directly message her about the podcast and ask if she’d consider being a guest. I honestly don’t even remember paying attention to her profile.
Months later, after a few calls and several emails, (and more by sheer luck than by design) I managed to get myself vetted through the Ramsey Solutions Corporation and schedule a LIVE interview with her in Nashville!
How cool is that?? I was thrilled as I watched it come together, but it wasn’t until a few people looked at me in shock and asked, “How on earth did you pull that off???”
My response, “I asked. What would it hurt if she said ‘no’?”
Now, this episode is about sales, and women, and all the ways we get in our own heads. But I want you to think about something… What is lying just outside your reach that could be possible if you just asked?

Mindfulness…. hmmmm…. I like the idea. It sounds great, but how on earth do I even begin to find a "state of mindfulness" in my chaotic life? Can you relate to that? Great! Then, you're going to love this episode!
I can’t even tell you how much I’ve been waiting to share this episode. And now, I’m so happy to finally release it for you!!
I’m just going to say it… this just might be the MOST IMPACTFUL episode yet. And how fitting that it's our 20th (yes, twentieth!) episode.
I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on this one! So be sure to DM me @amykathleen.ak!

This week we are taking back to a conversation like our first episode. Just a great and fun conversation with a sweet friend.
Do you have a friend who fills your soul in a way that after talking with them you feel like your tank is full again?... I really hope so.
That’s exactly how Lea May makes me feel. We don’t get the opportunity to visit like this often, but I’m so happy that we were able to include you this time.
Lea is a beacon. We can all learn from the way she handles life as a mom, wife, entrepreneur, influencer, community leader, and attorney. She handles life with the utmost level of grace.
Isn’t it fun to have friends who inspire you?... Who make you want to be better... And not the kind that stems from the comparison trap that’s so easy to fall in to. The kind of better that comes from a place of admiration and wonder of “what if I chose to look at life differently? I wonder if I could find that same happiness and peace.”
I hope you do. And if you don’t, I hope you’ll start seeking them out. Those relationships aren’t just fun... they are life giving.

A Storied Table is a laid-back podcast about life, travel, hospitality, and home — and the stories that naturally weave their way through it all.
Each episode feels like…
Faith shows up here in a real-life way — honest, approachable, and never forced. It’s just part of the conversation, woven in, the same way it shows up in everyday life.
You’ll hear stories, laughs, fun conversations, and the kind of honest openness that tends to happen when people relax and stay awhile.
If you love good food, adventures in traveling, intentional living, and conversations that feel easy and real, you’re in the right place.
Welcome to a storied table. I’m so glad you’re here.
