Fred Colby's wife went to Heaven after decades of marriage. In a moment, his life changed as he knew it. While looking for resources for widowers (which he couldn't find) his therapist told him to write the book, which he did! It's called Widower to Widower. "I realize it was just a very different experience for us men, and that we did not know how to reach out. We didn't know how to admit that we needed help."
